What is Love?
I am fascinated by this emotion or feeling or experience called love.
It's mythical and mysterious. Illusive and alluring.
It is charmingly painful.
And yet, we all fly towards it like a moth to a flame.
Love is so far the most compelling survival instinct we as human beings have. It drives us to make emotional connections that can give us a safe haven from the ups and downs of life. An invisible blanket, like the one Harry Potter had, to keep us protected while we navigate the storms of life.
Did you know that emotionally rejected or abandoned can spark emotional and physical pain?
There is no perfect love. There is just daring one. A courageous act to hold the hand of your loved one as they reluctantly reach out for your support. Instead of searching for love it might be time we give it out freely and abundantly!
