Love. Honor. Respect.
I sat in front of a holy place, and I whispered,
I take you as my husband with God as my witness.
I will honor, respect, cherish and love you
till the day death comes for me.
Maya Angelou says,
In the flush of love's light
We dare be brave
And suddenly we see
That love costs all we are
And will ever be
Yet, it is only love which sets us free.
I have learned something new while frantically trying to find a ground in the last two months. Oh God, if only I could show you the insanity, the instability, the ever so familiar pain.
There is a long way for me to go.
And this... this is my anchor.
Mine alone.
There will be a time for it to come off. And it will come off.
It no longer represents what it did before. This is a reminder that I will stand up for what I believe in.
For now, I give
Love, honor, respect to the words I spoke in front of God.
May he forgive me for the harshness, the insanity, the instability, and much much more.

Luv
Saj
